Independent Living Program

Our Therapeutic Foster Care Program is designed to provide a stable, nurturing home for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. We ensure that every child placed in our program receives individualized support to help them thrive.
Carefully recruited and extensively trained foster parents.
Individualized Service Plans (ISP) tailored to each child’s needs.
24/7 crisis intervention and ongoing case management.

The Independent Living Program is designed for young adults who are aging out of foster care and transitioning to self-sufficiency. Our program provides guidance, mentorship, and life skills training to help them successfully integrate into society.
Housing assistance and financial literacy education.

Guidance on higher education opportunities.
Life skills development, including budgeting, cooking, and self-care.
Emotional and mental health support to promote resilience and confidence.
The ILP helps young adults develop the independence and self-confidence necessary for a successful transition into adulthood

At CareRite TFC, we believe that every child and young adult deserves a chance to grow, succeed, and lead fulfilling lives. Please send referrals for placement of youth between ages 17 thru 20 years old. Boys and Girls are welcomed to join our growing community of youth that are prepared for independence. As a Child Placement Agency in Maryland; we are looking forward to serving, teens, teen parents and youth with special needs.
